The Orafol Group met the strict criteria of the programme in the four areas - strategy, culture & commitment, productivity & innovation, governance & finance.

Dr Holger Loclair, chairman & CEO of the Orafol Group, said, “We place high demands on ourselves - in product development, in service and in cooperation with customers and partners. I am pleased that the enormous commitment and discipline of all employees at Orafol has received public appreciation through this award. The increase in sales in a challenging environment is the result of targeted processes, a business strategy that focuses on sustainability and a culture that protects honest and open co-operation - especially in times of our rapid growth.”

Orafol generated sales of €768m last year. The owner-managed group employs 2,500 people worldwide, with 1,100 at its headquarters near Berlin.
