ORAFOL WRAPS BMW DRIVING EXPERIENCE
Wide-format media developer Orafol unveiled the BMW Driving Experience car last night, wrapped in its 970RA film by Drive Creative, which also designed and printed the wrap.
Taking place at Orafol’s new 3,500sqm national distribution hub in Erskine Park, NSW, the unveiling was hosted by Orafol ANZ managing director Alex McClelland and team. It featured Samantha Rogers and Dan Sharples, co-owners of wrapping shop Drive Creative in Melbourne, as well as the BMW Driving Experience team, and the Orafol staff, with local car wrapping printers also in attendance. The one-of-a-kind BMW M4 that was centre-stage will be showcased at events around the country.
Describing the job as an "impressive outcome" McClelland said, “The Orafol 970RA is the ideal film for this kind of application, with an aggressive adhesion, texture, and an ability to hold vibrant print. It is a privilege to be part of the project, congratulations to Drive Creative for their work.”
Drive Creative works almost exclusively in the vehicle wrapping field. The business evolved from Kulture Creative two years ago. Co-owner Samantha Rogers started in the wrapping industry with global award-winning Exotic Grafix.
Rogers said, “I was inspired for this wrap by the first BMW Art Car series, which featured designs by Andy Warhol and Alexander Calder. I wanted the wrap to showcase great art, with an asymmetrical design, with texture and contrast. Thanks to Orafol for all their support.”
