Sable has partnered with George de Crespigny, who was chief commercial officer at Melbourne Football Club, to found the new venture.

SIXP will buy print, signage, promotional products and apparel for its clients, as part of a full service package designed to provide all aspects of events, focusing on sports, entertainment, conferencing, festivals, retail, advertisers and brands.

Services include the print procurement and installation, but also event staffing, logistics, set up and take down management, security and catering. SIXP will also provide strategic input.

Sable said, “After 21 years it is time for a change. We saw an opportunity to create a full service one stop shop. I know clients who go to five or six suppliers for their needs, SIXP means they can have just one, which will take care of all their needs.” SIXP has already been vetting and appointing qualified suppliers around the country

Sable - who is also a qualified yoga teacher - has been CEO at QMS Print, for the past five years. He has been CEO of Omnigraphics, which he sold to QMS, for the past 21 years. As well as Omnigraphics, QMS Print also owns print business MMT and BMG.

QMS Media, which owns QMS Print, is one of the country’s leading out-of-home operations. It recently won the ten-year contract for Sydney’s outdoor media, but the project attracted controversy when resident and commuters complained about the placement of digital signage assets, causing the council to call for a hiatus on installations, which it had previously approved.
