The inauguration event took place at the new premises in the presence of Zünd CEO, Oliver Zünd, and a distinguished group of guests.

This milestone marks an important step in strengthening Zünd's presence in the Australian market. The new facility includes a purpose-built 150sqm showroom, allowing customers to experience Zünd technology firsthand. The showroom features two fully operational cutting systems: a G3 L-2500 1800 x 2500 model and an S3 M-1200 model with an extension table.

During the opening event, guests were treated to exclusive live demonstrations showcasing Zünd's digital cutting systems. The presentations highlighted the versatility of Zünd’s modular solutions and the wide array of tools and consumables available to customers worldwide.

Oliver Zünd emphasised the significance of the Australian market for the company. He said, "With Zünd Australia, we can directly and competently support both our existing and new customers. This new subsidiary strengthens our market position and enables us to provide the best possible service to our Australian customers in the long term."

Dale Hawkins, managing director of Zünd Australia, added, "Our goal is to offer high-quality cutting solutions, and also to be a reliable partner for our customers. With our new location, we can better address the needs of industries across Australia, providing top-tier support and expertise."

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Zünd Systemtechnik AG, Zünd Australia benefits from the extensive experience and innovation of its Swiss parent company. At the same time, the local team brings in-depth technical knowledge and a hands-on approach, ensuring businesses across various industries — including graphics, packaging, furniture, fashion, and transportation — will receive tailored solutions, that according to Zünd will optimise their production processes.

The new Melbourne showroom serves as a demonstration facility, and as a training and innovation centre. Customers can explore state-of-the-art digital cutting solutions that help them streamline production and gain a competitive edge.

The event concluded with a celebratory after-party at the nearby 2 Brothers Brewery, where customers, partners, and the Zünd team gathered for networking and informal discussions.
