Kornit appoints new Asia-Pacific president
Digital textile printing solutions developer Kornit has hired former Daimler executive Ilan Elad as incoming president of the company’s Asia-Pacific (KDAP) division, succeeding Andy Yarrow.
Elad has been brought in to push the company’s commitment to growth and industry leadership in Asia-Pacific region, which was already hitting its ambitious targets.
Kornit says Elad brings a record of success as an "inspiring and disruptive" leader in on-demand production technologies. Based in Tokyo, Elad has served Daimler Trucks Asia since 2013, prior to that, he was founder and CEO of Vision India, as well as regional managing director NEU with telecommunications company Ciena.
Elad has been working as a consultant to Kornit Digital since March in support of several expansion opportunities, allowing him to become acquainted with Kornit’s global business.
Kornit Digital manufactures industrial digital printing technologies for the garment, apparel and textile industries, delivering complete solutions including digital printing systems, inks, consumables, software, and after-sales support.
In ANZ Kornit is supplied by Kiwo, with well-known industry identity Ashley Playford Brown as the Kornit country manager.
