Epson presented a wide range of signage options as well as fabric and clothing production technologies on its stand at Visual Impact last week.
It drew crowds with the demonstrations of products and demonstrations that cover interior décor, POS, POP, durable outdoor signage and direct to garment (DTG) applications.
“From an outdoor durable signage perspective, this range gives you the biggest colour gamut in the market at the moment,” says Gordon Kerr, product marketing manager, Epson. “The sales of this range and in particular the SureColor SC-S80600 have been exceptional. This is our flagship product and one of our top sellers and it has created a lot of interest at the show.
“What is new, brand spanking new, it only happened two days ago, this machine is now Pantone certified – the first official Pantone certification for signage, as far as I’m aware anyway. This printer has 98 per cent Pantone coverage.”
The new SureColor range features Epson PrecisionCore head technology and a new UltraChrome ink set that delivers prints with improved quality, brightness and colour gamut. The printers produce output that dries quickly to enable same-day job turnaround even when lamination is required.
