SWISSQPRINT ON POZITIVE STAND
The swissQprint Nyala 4 inkjet print system was centrestage on the Pozitive stand, which ran with a special Star Wars promotion on the Thursday of the show, May 4th.
Philip Trumble, managing director of Pozitive said, “The swissQprint Nyala 4 is modular, so it is configurable to exactly what an individual print businesses needs. It is aimed at those who WANT quality and speed.”
Swiss engineering is well known for not being the cheapest equipment to buy, but Trumble said, “You have to look at the whole life cost. Swiss engineering lasts, the first swissQprints that were installed in 2008 are still running as well as ever, that’s 15 years later, and IT IS the same for the first that went in to Australia in 2012, it is still running, and in fact in all that time it has only had to have two of its 16 printheads replaced.”
Trumble says the Nyala 4 produces offset quality print, which he says is helping hasten the switch from offset, and screen, to digital for large format print. It is both a flatbed and 3.2m roll-to-roll machine. Trumble also Pointed to the running costs, he said, “The Nyala 4 uses less power than a household kettle.”
Pozitive also has its full range of Summa cutters on the stand.
