VFX installs third 3.2m HP Latex
Sydney sign and display operation VFX has installed its third HP Latex 3.2m wide format printer – supplied by Celmac – as the business increases its capacity.
John Hatzigiannis, owner of the 30-year-old company, said, “Our workload is increasing as our client base values our quality and reliability. We were getting close to capacity with our existing machines, so the time was right to add to our capability. We buy HP because of the service and support, which in my view is the best in the business.
“The new HP Latex L3600 is already up and running, and we are already enjoying the benefits of the quality, and the fact that we can leave it printing overnight and when we come in I have 100 metres on the roll," Hatzigiannis said. “We also appreciate its ability to print great quality on a range of stock, and we can print two different substrates at the same time on the one press.”
VFX was established by Hatzigiannis 30 years ago, and has 38 staff working in the Leichardt factory. It prints a range of products for different sectors including real estate, retail, commercial and government. Next year the business will move to new premises to accommodate its growing workload.
Jonny Rumney, NSW state manager at Celmac said, “VFX is a pioneering print business that is focused on customer service, it wants to produce the best possible work for its clients. I am sure the new advanced HP Latex L3600 3.2m printer will enable it to keep meeting the requirements of its market.”
